3 week agoCUHK ex-vice chancellor Joseph Sung arrived at the scene and urged students to peacefully disperse, saying that current vice-chancellor Rocky Tuan has discussed with police who have agreed to move away from the bridge, if students do so as well.

An alliance of HongKong academics says actions of the students were not a threat to the public and there was no need for police action
The MTR has said that Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Wong Tai Sin, Whampoa, Causeway Bay, Tseung Kwan O, Hang Hau, Tuen Mun, Long Ping, Ma On Shan, Heng On and Sha Tin Wai stations will close at 9pm today (Tuesday).
