An alliance of HongKong academics says actions of the students were not a threat to the public and there was no need for police action
The MTR has said that Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Wong Tai Sin, Whampoa, Causeway Bay, Tseung Kwan O, Hang Hau, Tuen Mun, Long Ping, Ma On Shan, Heng On and Sha Tin Wai stations will close at 9pm today (Tuesday).

In a statememt, the MTR Corporation condemns the "violent acts" of protesters and says throwing objects at a moving train or onto the rail tracks is highly dangerous and could cause a large number of deaths
4 week agoA black van just ploughed through the field of bricks and other obstacles on Connaught Rd before breaking abruptly before the more serious barrier on the other side of the intersection. Quickly reversed and sped away. Very lucky no one was hurt
