Hong Kong students and teachers are calling for a citywide strike and class boycott tomorrow to support the secondary school student shot today by police and to condemn the mass arrests of student protesters in recent days. (Via Telegram)
A total of 6 live shots were fired throughout the day on Oct 1, including 2 warning shots in Mong Kok, 1 in Tsuen Wan, and other on Sha Tsui Road in Tsuen Wan and Shatin Pass Road in Wong Tai Sin, police chief Stephen Lo said
Over 180 people have been arrested on Oct 1 for charges related to rioting, possession of offensive weapons and assaulting police, said Commissioner of Police Stephen Lo
Police say they've arrested over 100 people today. They also arrested 51 people in 48 raids over the last two days. That would bring the total number of protest arrests since 6/9 to over 1,700. With 96 charged with riot tomorrow, at least 309 in all will have been charged
